Deposit/Payment/Cancellation Policies

Payment Policy :

  • Full payment is required for ROOM ONLY reservations to be confirmed.
  • 50% deposit is required for PACKAGE RESERVATIONS to be confirmed.
  • The balance is due 60 days prior to guest arrival at the resort.
  • 20% of package total is considered non refundable

Credit Card Charges :

We process credit card charges in BZ$ at a conversion rate of $1USD: $2BZD.  There may be other charges by your bank based on international usage of your card or the current foreign exchange rate.

Cancellation Policy :

  • All Cancellations MUST be received in writing. 
  • Reservations cancelled 61 or more days prior to arrival date = 100% refund of deposit received less 10% processing fee + 20% non refundable deposit.
  • Reservations cancelled 60-15 days prior to arrival date = 50% refund less US$100.00 processing fee + 20% non – refundable deposit
  • Reservations cancelled 15 or less days prior to arrival date = FULL RESORT CREDIT VALID FOR UP TO 12 MONTHS FROM CANCELLATION
  • No Show = NO REFUND
  • Please note that if you purchase a discounted package or last minute special, reservations is non refundable, non transferrable, non changeable .
  • Pelican Beach Resorts cannot be held responsible or liable for trip cancellations or altered itineraries due to reasons out of our control. Such as acts of God, including but not limited to heavy rains, flooding, storms, hurricanes or any other natural occurrence. Whenever possible another available tour will be substituted for tour cancellations.
  • We highly recommended that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance for all bookings done in Belize.
  • Pelican Beach Resorts are not responsible for refunding any portions of any itinerary which the clients do not use.

Due to the above it is HIGHLY recommended that all clients purchase “trip cancellation insurance” in order to cover a possible cancellation of 60 days or less of initiating itinerary.
